Course Content

The Robotics Course consists of 4 modules, teaching you everything you need to get involved in robotics, be it to be a part of a competitive robotics team or just to explore robotics on your own!

Module 1: Robots 101 will demystify the field of robotics, explaining what robotics is and how robots are built, all in terms that anyone, even absolute beginners, can understand. (This Module is available for free check it out now!)  

 

Module 2: Lego Robotics Fundamentals will get into specific robot-building systems, particularly focusing on the LEGO robotics system.  We will offer hands-on exercises that will solidify your understanding of building and programming robots.

Module 3: Competitive Robotics is for those interested in building and mentoring a youth robotics team and want to understand the ins and outs of FIRST Lego League.  We will break it all down for you so your youth team can be ahead of the pack on competition day.

Module 4: Robot "Fun"damentals is for those that need a bit more technical detail than what you will have found in Module 1 or 2.  Even though in Module 4 we dive into the math and physics of robotics, we keep it simple enough for a beginner to understand.  ​
